Parents,
Please don't forget our final 2 performances of the semester:
1)The Halls Christmas Parade- December 5th. Mr. Humber will be at school at 4:00 to load drums and woodwinds on the trailer. We will meet in the parking lot of the Crossroads Presbyterian Church (corner of Emory and Broadway/Maynardville Hwy)at 5:30 to dress and unload trailer, and parade ends in front of the Kroger about a mile south of the church. Students participating in Junior Clinic will be exempt.
2)GHS Band Holiday Concert- December 15th at 7:30 in the GHS Gym. Due to a scheduling conflict, Mrs. Graves needed the Dec. 10th date listed in your calendar. Therefore, we have switched to the 15th. The time is 7:30 because there is also a PTSA program in the auditorium that night. We will warm up promptly at 7 in the gym.

This year, the GHS Band and Chorus are planning to take a trip to
Washington, DC in April. The cost of this trip (if we have more than 99 paying travelers) will be $440 for quad-occupancy rooms. Your child will be brought home a trip packet with an itinerary, recommended payment schedule, and other important info. Please make sure you keep up with this packet because it has the payment schedule.
